Jobbsjansen – for immigrant women
Are you an immigrant woman between the ages of 18 and 55 who needs qualification for work or education? Then Jobbsjansen might be just right for you!
What you get as a participant
An individually program based on your needs and strengths. The program may include the following:
- A personal advisor who supports you
- Help with CV, job applications, and interview training
- Assistance in applying for jobs, work practice, language practice, or education
- Lessons about Norwegian society and working life
- A social network and the opportunity to make new friends in a similar situation
- Close cooperation with various support services in the district
- Taxable motivational allowance of NOK 10,846 (equivalent to the basic amount in the National Insurance Scheme)
- Follow-up for up to 1 year after completing the program
Who can apply?
- Immigrant women between 18 and 55 years old who need training for work or education.
- You have a residence permit
- You can join a full-time daytime program (up to 37.5 hours per week)
- You get social assistance, transitional benefits or you are financially supported by family members.
- You have little work experience
- You finished the introduction program at least two years ago

About the project
The project is funded by IMDi(The Directorate of Integration and Diversity) and run by nine districts in Oslo Municipality.
