Biography James Stove Lorentzen
James Stove Lorentzen (Conservative Party) is the Vice Mayor for Urban Development since 25 October 2023.
He has been a Member of the City Council since 2011. He previously chaired the Standing Committee on Finance and the Standing Committee on Health and Welfare. Since 2021, he has chaired the Standing Committee on Urban Development.
Stove Lorentzen is a former business leader with experience from Stolt-Nielsen Inc, Belships ASA, Stolt Sea Farm and Marine Harvest, as well as a manager in investment companies. He has a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the International Management Institute in Geneva.
James Stove Lorentzen was born in 1957 and grew up in Vettakollen in the Vestre Aker district of Oslo. He lives in Besserud in the same district.
