Biography Marit Kristine Vea
Marit Kristine Vea (Liberal Party) is the Vice Mayor for Environment and Transport since 25 October 2023.
Since 2019, Vea has been a Member of the City Council on the Standing Committee on Transport and Environmental Affairs, and Deputy Chair of the Norwegian Liberal Party’s City Council Group. She has previously served as Political Adviser for Environment and Transport.
She has been a Political Adviser in the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment for Ola Elvestuen, an Adviser to the environmental foundation Zero and a Political Adviser to the Future in Our Hands. Vea has an MSc. in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
She was born in 1985 and lives in Nordre Aker with her partner, two children and a dog.
