Whats needed for kindergarten?
You might get at list from the kindergarten of what your child need for kindergarten start. Each child has its own place in the wardrobe, with a shelf or other place where they can keep change of clothing.
Rain clothes, rain boots and rain gloves (regndress, gummistøvler, regnvotter)
Shoes for the season
Winter jacket/pants or snowsuit (vinterdress)
Jacket and pants, or playsuit, in water- and windproof garment which can breathe (parkdress)
Hat for the season, buff or balaclava (lue, buff, balaklava)
You can ask the staff at your child’s kindergarten for recommendations.
Keep in mind that it is your responsibility to keep it tidy and organized. You might need to bring outdoor clothing home to wash for the next day. Same goes for wet clothes, take them home and bring replacements the next day.
You should label your child’s clothes and shoes so it is easier for both you and the staff to know what belongs to which child.
