Civil marriage at the National Museum
In 2022 the largest art museum in the Nordic countries opened in Oslo. Here you can experience older and modern art, contemporary art, architecture and design all under one roof and in completely new ways.
Civil wedding ceremonies are held in The Board Room (Styrerommet).

Capacity and Accessibility
Each wedding party may include up to 24 guests. The National Museum is fully accessible and designed to accommodate all visitors.

Time slots can be booked up to one year in advance.
Price
The fee for a civil ceremony at the National Museum is NOK 4,555.
Access and parking
It is easy to travel by public transport to the National Museum. From Nationaltheatret station, it takes around 5 minutes to walk. There are also trams and buses nearby. Please note that there are limited public parking spaces in the area.
