Choose Reuse and Think Local
- Give pre-loved fashion a second life by borrowing an outfit or choosing to rent or buy second-hand.
- Reduce travel emissions by selecting a local venue or celebrating outdoors or at home.
- Keep decorations simple and sustainable by reusing existing items instead of purchasing new ones.
- Minimize waste by avoiding single-use products whenever possible.
- Save paper and reduce waste by choosing digital invitations instead of printed ones.
Choose a Green Menu for the Reception
Opt for organic, plant-based, and locally sourced food. Save leftovers and plan carefully to reduce food waste.
Ask for Sustainable Gifts
Wish for experiences, handcrafted gifts or second-hand gifts. Already have everything you need? Ask for donations to a charitable organization.
Choose a Green Honeymoon
If you love nature, consider a forest walk, cycling trip, or mountain hike for your honeymoon. Travel by public transport—a train journey is a great way to explore Norway or Europe.
