15 June: Oslo City Government continues to reopen Oslo
Press release: “The gradual and controlled reopening of Oslo has been a success. Many of the rules that people in Oslo have grown used to are now being lifted. For the most part, we will then be under the same Covid restrictions as people elsewhere in Norway,” says Oslo’s Governing Mayor Raymond Johansen (Labour Party).

21 May: Oslo City Government continues its phased reopening of Oslo
Press release: Oslo City Government has today decided to introduce Phase 2 of its reopening plan for Oslo. “Strict limitations and clear public health precautions will apply to everything that is reopened,” says Oslo’s Governing Mayor, Raymond Johansen (Labour Party).

11 May: Upper secondary schools to change to yellow risk level from Tuesday 18 May
Press release: Oslo City Government has today extended the measures of the City of Oslo’s Covid-19 regulations up to and including 27 May. The City Government intends to re-assess implementing the remaining Stage 2 measures of the reopening plan at the end of next week. Upper secondary schools will change to yellow risk level for infection control measures from Tuesday 18 May. Adult education will continue at red risk level.

5 May: Oslo City Government continues its gradual reopening of Oslo
Oslo City Government has today decided to start Phase 2 of its plan to reopen the city that was announced last week. “The rate of infection as well as the number of people vaccinated and the number receiving hospital treatment in Oslo are all moving in the right direction,” says Oslo’s Governing Mayor Raymond Johansen (Labour Party).

27 April: Oslo City Government announces plans for gradual reopening of Oslo
Press release: Oslo City Government is today announcing a five-phase plan to reopen Oslo. Phase 1 of the plan goes into effect today. Next week, the city government will assess when Oslo can move forward to Phase 2.

14 April: Oslo City Government introduces enhanced red risk level at schools in Oslo – students can return to class
Press release: The Oslo City Government has decided to allow all school students in Oslo to return to the classroom with effect from Monday, 19 April. All other Covid-related restrictions have been extended until 29 April.
