INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION

Participation by the City of Oslo in the international arena is increasing. The interest in Oslo from abroad is substantial.

Tourism, culture, business and educational programmes contribute to exchange of people, capital and ideas with the surrounding world. The City of Oslo intends to play an active role internationally and is arranging for Oslo’s participation and profiling in the international arena. The international commitments of the City of Oslo take place through:

•  Co-operation with other cities in Europe and the rest of the world
•  Networking organisations in our own region and internationally 
• Hosting functions for visiting delegations to Oslo 
•  Participation in EU/EEA programmes
